Opening doors to the future of work

We advance research, share knowledge, build skills and celebrate talent, so that people from
every background can thrive in a fast-changing world of work.

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Work is changing faster than ever. Technology, automation and new ways of working are reshaping which skills matter and who gets access to opportunity. Kendor Foundation exists to make sure that change works for people, not against them.

Founded in 2014 by Dr Adora Ikwuemesi, we equip young people, early-career professionals and those with limited access to opportunity with the knowledge, skills and mentorship they need to build rewarding careers.

To advance research, knowledge and skills development for the future of work, starting in Nigeria, so that people and organisations are ready for what comes next.

Research

We study how work is changing, and what that means for people and organisations.

Knowledge

We make practical learning on HR, careers and the future of work freely available.

Skills

We build capability through training, mentoring and vocational learning.

Recognition

We celebrate emerging talent and the practitioners shaping the profession.

What We Run

HR Bootcamp Conference

Since 2009, our flagship gathering for HR leaders, practitioners and emerging professionals. The 14th edition takes place on 9 to 10 December 2026, in person and online, on the theme EDGE: The Human Advantage in the Age of Machines.

Kendor Academy

Free online courses in HR, leadership and career development, so that cost is never a barrier to learning.

Scholarships & Mentoring

Fully funded conference places for talented students and early-career professionals, plus coaching and mentoring in the Career and Coaching Lounge. We also run the Rising
Stars Challenge, a live competition that puts emerging HR talent in front of senior leaders.

Help Us Open Doors

Everything we do is made possible by people and organisations who believe talent deserves opportunity. Your gift funds free learning, scholarships and mentoring for people who would otherwise miss out.
